This was more of a practice chapter than anything - at the time, I had stopped drawing for a while and wasa trying to learn how to comic again. The introduction, plot points and character designs has changed a bit but I think this def helped get into the groove of things.

This is a scrapped side-plot but Luca actually wasn't cheating lol he was just trying to steal from his gangster boss which definitely goes well and doesn't come back to bite him.

I'm so glad I made this my first proper comic because I learned I actually hate using the pen brush and prefer something softer - which is why it somehow took a whole year to finish. I considered expanding on this concept into a longer story. Maybe even a romance between a mermaid and an outsider!
